having a hibernation problem, which causes a sudden, unwanted shutdown 
of the device.Two weeks ago, a group of users shared their problem with Microsoft's 
technical support forum as well as the Redt network. The company said it
 was aware of the problem and was working to resolve it.

It is not clear whether this problem can be fixed by software update, as there was a problem with the battery in a number of previous versions of Surf Pro and some cases took months to fix.
