Some new Servo Pro devices go into hibernation mode
Some users of the latest Microsoft ProService have said they are
having a hibernation problem, which causes a sudden, unwanted shutdown
of the device. Two weeks ago, a group of users shared their problem with Microsoft's
technical support forum as well as the Redt network. The company said it
was aware of the problem and was working to resolve it.
The hibernation problem in Surf Pro Iron seems to have affected a
large number of users due to the amount of responses and posts around
it, and it seems to be occurring for a variety of models running the i5
and i7 processors.
It
is not clear whether this problem can be fixed by software update, as
there was a problem with the battery in a number of previous versions of
Surf Pro and some cases took months to fix.
