Android Marshmallow is the most widely used around the world with growing use of Noga
Google released new statistics in the Android Developer Center on the
proportion of use of different versions of the system, announcing the
continuation of the sixth and seventh editions of the growth in terms of
proportion of use.
Marshmallow, Android 6, is the most widely used around the world by up to 32.3%, followed by the fifth version, by Bob Lollipop, with a usage rate of 29.2%. While version 4.4 known as Kit-III was replaced by a usage rate of up to 16%, and finally ranked fourth in the latest official release, Noga, by up to 13.5%.
These figures represent a growth of 1.7% for Android 7.0 compared to the previous months and 0.3% for 7.1, thanks to new devices released in the market, and updates launched by companies to support the latest version with the launch of the release of the eighth version of Android, code-named "or" O.
