Review ASUS ZenBOOK UX430
At the beginning of 2015, Dell launched the XPS 13, which many companies tried to imitate by putting larger screens on their laptops. Now ASUS has introduced the Zenbook UX430, which comes with the same size and weight as the Zenbook UX330, which appeared in 2016; A little bit and a graphic sketch of NVIDIA. The device is available in two models; the UX430UA model without a dedicated graphics chip and UX430UQ with the NVIDIA GT 940MX graphics chip. Otherwise, the two models are identical in structure, screen and battery, so the decision here depends on how much the user is willing to pay and how much the device uses for games
At the end of this year, two models will be available with the quad-core KabyLake-R processor:

the designThe structure of the device is made of aluminum panels on an aluminum frame, a powerful device, but the keyboard platform can be bent slightly, especially in the lid than some other Zenbook devices and the leading options; the machine does not come with an aluminum cover, the device is covered with a layer of technology called NIL which is similar to glass but it is not as weak as it is. But only the model in royal blue and glossy pink come with this layer, and the gray and gold model comes with a glossy aluminum cover. The Zenbook is compact, high-weight, and the same size and width of the 13-inch Asus Zenbook, but the screen is 14 inches, the screen comes with fine edges on the right and left, and the upper edge is large enough to contain the camera and the microphone.During daily use the device was found to be easy to use and carry; because of its light weight and smooth edges. But like other Zenbook devices, the lower panel does not ideally connect to the main platform, and is surrounded by a solid edge.Although the front part of the screen structure allows for good grip, it is difficult to open the screen with one hand due to the steel joint, but the joint is well built. The interior of the machine is simple, glossy aluminum, and has a good texture that balances softness and toughness. The palm rest is big enough, and there's a trackpad in the middle. At the bottom of the device are four rubber legs and two loudspeaker networks, and the air and exhaust networks are behind the joint.
The device has a number of ports, mostly on the left side such as PSU port, USB 3.0 port, USB-C port 3.1, micro-HDMI port and headphone port; with USB 2.0 port and SD card reader on the right, LED light to indicate status. Unfortunately, there is no HDMI port, and you will need a converter from micro-HDMI to HDMI as a video output; also there is no Thunderbolt 3 support where the USB-C port supports only the first generation of speed at 5 Gbps.
Keyboard and trackpadThe device offers a distinctive keyboard with 15 x 15 mm square buttons with good comma intervals; the design has not changed in recent years with the power button on the top right with small direction buttons. The pressure on the keyboard buttons is 1.4 millimeters; but it provides an outer layer and a good resistance and pressure. The keys are quiet and backlit, and there are three levels of lighting to choose from.
The trackpad is made of glass, smooth and slightly low so that it can be easily found in the dark; it provides flawless performance; no problems with signals, jumps, or other problems are observed. The pressure is a bit annoying and hard but it is better than many other models. There is a built-in fingerprint scanner in the trackpad, which makes it easier to access Windows with your fingerprint instead of long passwords.
the screen
The device comes with a touch-sensitive 14-inch IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 px, and features no glare or reflections and is sharp enough to use 100% if you want more space.
The painting was manufactured by Chi Mei, providing good brightness and contrast, wide viewing angles and precise colors. Although there is slight blue color and gamma distortion, color calibration can be used to process it. The contrast ratio at the highest brightness ratio is 810: 1, and the black color at the maximum brightness ratio is 0.41 lumens per square meter.
Battery lifeThe device has a 50 watts battery and is better than the other 48-watt Zenbook batteries. The battery may not give you a lot of play time, but under normal circumstances the battery life is as good as the following analysis shows:
About 8 hours and 20 minutes running if you're browsing and editing texts in Google Drive, with Balanced mode and screen running at 30% and Wi-Fi
