IOS 11.2 Update Accelerates Wireless Charging in New iPhone Phones

Apple has introduced iOS 11.2 software update for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 8 Plus, which will speed up the wireless charging process.

iOS 11.2 unlocks faster wireless charging
In the previous update, iOS 11.1, which supports wireless charging, could charge up to 5 watts per second. After the iOS 11.2 update, it was able to charge up to 7.5 watts, which was detected by RAVpower.
The new high-speed charging of the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X does not put it in full competition with Samsung (which can reach 15 watts through a certified charger).
There are several high-speed wireless chargers officially supported for Mophie and Belkin iPhone phones, but three Apple phones must be able to reach the new maximum 7.5 watts charging speed with any wireless charger that has this capacity.
