Windows is no longer the dominant system in the world at least in terms of access to the Internet where we were previously all of us in front of computer screens to access the Internet and this has changed with the revolution of smart phones certainly.

Recent data from StatCounter indicate that for the first time in history, the Android system became the # 1 system for Internet access with a market share of 39.93% at the end of March 2017.

  


 "What is happening is a milestone and almost the end of an era of Windows dominance that lasted from 1980," the company said, adding that this refers to the significant shift in access to the Internet through smart devices, including statistics of all computers, laptops and tablets, as well as phones.
The figure represents a huge achievement for Android, which five years ago accounted for only 2.4 percent of Internet traffic before things changed for Google in the past five years.
On the other hand, this figure is a huge loss for Microsoft, which still accounts for 84% of Internet traffic via PC only and it will be difficult for it to make a new road via mobile phones.
